Dow receives AEO certifications from Dubai Customs

As Dow participate in customs security programs, Dow's entities that are operating in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) have been awarded the Authorised Economic Operator certification from Dubai Customs  


“The UAE AEO program will provide Dow with a strong competitive advantage to better serve its customers in the region through a secure, expedited and streamlined supply chain process,” said Moosa Al-Moosa, president of Dow in the UAE & Finance director India, Middle East, Africa and Turkey. “We have a history spanning three decades of doing business in the UAE and the government has consistently supported us by extending an environment which is conducive to commercial activities.”

The certification process is aimed at demonstrating the quality and reliability of company processes, procedures, systems, competencies and security measures involved in international trade. The AEO certification also provides companies with a host of commercial benefits including faster customer clearance, prioritization in inspections, reduced post-clearance audits and a dedicated Customers Key Account Manager.
